Dossier is a fabulous hotel. Impeccably clean, very comfortable and safe. The staff were always so friendly especially Grant at check in and each afternoon when I saw him always had a pleasant and welcoming smile. My first visit to Portland was incredible and made only better by my stay at this hotel. 10/10 would recommend every time.

Dined in their restaurant 3 months ago and they waited until today to charge my card. There are clearly serious administrative problems with this business. Best to stay away.

Absolutely delighted with everything about our stay. Clyde at the front desk was especially helpful, and Becca was instrumental in making sure our experience was planned and executed well. The food at Alder was impeccable as well, the wait staff, Matthew and James, were knowledgeable and recommended excellent dishes that were cooked to perfection. So much care and detail built in to every aspect of the hotel and restaurant. Thank you, Dossier and Alder staff!

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel downtown Portland. It was convenient to everything and the bed, pillows, sheets were very comfortable. The room was quiet and we had very good nights sleep there. Everyone at the front desk were very nice, polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were immensely smaller than the pictures had us believe, and check-in was riddled with hidden upcharges so what should have been only a $750 stay ended up being $1050. Would not recommend staying here.
